These events are called Portrait Blessing Days because the goal is not sales — it’s service.

WHAT IT IS

Families from your church reserve portrait sessions by making a small donation.

100% of that donation goes directly to your church. In return, each participating family receives a beautifully finished portrait created just for them.|

WHY CHURCHES LOVE THIS EVENT

There is no cost to the church and participation is completely optional for families.

WHAT I PROVIDE

WHAT THE CHURCH PROVIDES

  • A table (if available)

  • Basic announcement to families. That’s all.

EVENT DETAILS

  • Sessions are short and relaxed

  • Designed to be child-friendly

  • Limited number of families per event

  • Portraits are artist-finished after the event and ready to view in about 2–3 weeks

This event is designed to bless families, not pressure them.

My goal is simply to serve families well and represent your church with professionalism and care. I believe portraits should be meaningful, not ordinary.

About Stephen

I’ve been photographing families, children, and pets for over 40 years, beginning in 1984 here in Maine where I first photographed baby portraits in Augusta.

In the late 1980s and 1990s, I photographed hundreds of churches while creating directories for church communities — an experience that gave me a deep appreciation for how meaningful church families truly are.

I later spent over two decades in Australia creating thousands of storybook-style children’s portraits, developing a style designed to capture imagination, personality, and wonder.

Today I’m back in Central Maine, combining everything I’ve learned to serve churches and families through Portrait Blessing Day events — creating meaningful portraits while supporting church communities.

It’s truly a privilege to serve both.
